Onja II aus der Wolfskammer
I went to Germany in the spring of 2018, and met with Herr Helmut Swope, a well recognized breeder in northern Germany. I brought back Onja II aus der Wolfskammer, and qualified her to breed in early 2020. She and her littermates have produced a number of outstanding litters, both here and in Germany. She is about 20 kg, or 44 pounds, and at breed standard height of 52 cm. She excels at grouse and woodcock, ducks, and furred game. She is a beautiful braun-weiß (brown-white) example of the breed.
Aika von der Schlosskaute
Aika was my first Münsti. I went to Germany in 2017 to meet Patrick Peutel in Rodgau, and brought back Aika to the US. She passed her VJP and HZP successfully, but unfortunately, one of her littermates in Germany had a seizure, which was felt by her veterinarian to be epilepsy. Out of an abundance of precaution, we took her out of our breeding program. Nonetheless, she is an outstanding hunter, ranges far, breaks ice for duck retrieves, and is a loving home dog and great auntie to Onja’s puppies.
